gCells Inc. is a Santa Monica-based Application Service Provider (ASP).  Its founders and engineers bring expertise in engineering, computer science, art, marketing and sales, and management, totaling over 100 years of experience in software development.

Our Vision

gCells Inc. exists to provide the community of property managers with easy to use and economical tools to bring them into the Internet Age. 

By offering our software on a subscription basis, we hope to see you as a client and collaborator rather than a one-time customer. Our expertise makes it possible for us to incorporate your and others' suggestions and ideas into the framework of our software. When you subscribe to a gCells solution, you are encouraged to ask us to evolve the software to meet your needs, even as you adapt to the software itself.

gPortals Welcomes MiCasa Apartments - 14 - June - 2004

We are pleased to announce the addition of Mi Casa Apartments to gPortals. You can see this gPortal at http://micasa.gportals.com.

MySpace Module Released - 27 - Feb - 2004

We are very pleased to announce the release of gPortals 1.5! This release includes numerous optimizations and improvements to the gPortals user interface. MySpace, our new module, allows floorplans of the site to be uploaded and viewed by management and tenants. These plans can be provided in any format, but we have special support for SVG, a universal file format that allows a great deal of flexibility. For example, a manager can accurately measure square footage or lengths in any given part of the site.

Services Module Released - 15 - Jan - 2004

We have released gPortals 1.3! This release includes a Services module. The Services Module allows tenants to send and track maintenance and repair requests by logging into the property's gPortal. The manager can then organize the requests and assign contractors to them.

Security Module Released - 24 - Nov - 2003

We have released gPortals 1.2. This release includes a Security and Safety Information module. This module encompasses a variety of functions, including allowing management keep tenants up to date on the latest security and safety procedures of the site.

gPortals 1.1 Released - 23 - Oct - 2003

We have released gPortals 1.1. This release includes a News and Events module. This module allows you to create a calendar of events for your gPortal. Tenants can see when fire drills and important meetings are, while guests can see if any public events are taking place.
